Join us December 9th, when the founder of Firme Mezcal himself, Alberto Ochoa, will be in-house pouring samples and sharing the story behind the spirit.

Why Firme Mezcal?

The brand is a celebration of heritage: born from the Mexican-American (Chicano) experience, bridging the rich traditions of Oaxaca with the energy of Southern California. 

Alberto Ochoa combined his roots in the L.A. area with a deep respect for mezcal production. 

The mezcal is made in spare, artisanal palenques in Oaxaca, preserving tradition while introducing bold new flavor expressions (like the mandarina and cempasúchil editions). 

What to Expect:

A tasting station where you’ll sample the Firme expressions side by side.

Q&A with Alberto — ask about the brand story, agave varieties, how the mandarina and cempasúchil came to be.

Good vibes, new friends and a fresh way to experience mezcal beyond the standard.

If you have a question about reservations, this may help: 

When is comes to reservations, the only times that we will take them for is the time that we open.  For example, on Tuesdays, we can take a reservation at 5pm, but not after that.  Otherwise, we do stick to the no reservation policy and enforce a first-come, first-served policy.  I know that's not conventional, but it's just what makes sense for our operation.

There is free parking off Truman St.  The metered parking on San Fernando Rd is monitored, so please feed the meter.
